Umparng is a sort of isolated place by comparing to other parts of Thailand.  It is a small town as large as a big village with no actual bank or no commercialization.  It is located in TAK province amidst nature which still remains in pristine condition.  The area of Umparng is also abutting to Kampangpaet province where it is the most nearest and easiest access for central Thai people if there is a road.  However, the road was built incomplete in order to conserve the vast forest and wild life animals.  Visitors can come to Umparng from Mae Sot by bike, car of pick-up truck as prefer.  It takes roughly 3 hrs to reach the town from the distance of 160 km.  Burma Border is only 78 km. away from it.  Karen tribe sparsely inhabits in the area ever since …date unknown.  By their love of nature, visitors can still treasure the beauty of it.
